Transformation of neglected corneal ulcer

A corneal ulcer is a sight-threatening condition that can be found in an outpatient clinic. Managing the precisely and rapidly minimize its symptoms improve vision for better quality of life. In our case, 52-year-old man came to eye clinic with chief complaints redness, tearing, blurring, pain his right three weeks ago. The other were photophobia, hard open eye, accompanied by yellowish secretion. He never got any medical treatment eye. From examination, visual acuity was hand movement; we blepharospasm lagophthalmos, conjunctiva hyperemia chemosis, 6 mm central perilimbal neovascularization, without hypopyon. patient admitted hospitalization intensive monitoring treatment. lessened at first, but sadly there no significant change condition. stable first week after he went home. However, next week, hypopyon decemetocele show up as new manifestations due patient's delay, even worse. consequence, awareness compliance play essential role promoting healing cornea.
